  • A control system based on MCS-96 scries single chip MC for thyristor welding power source is described in this paper. The control program has been developed for ZX5-630 type welder. Because of the high speed, high accuracy and good real-time adaptability of the 16-bit MC, the welder has much better performance in dynamic quality, welding flexibility and reliability.
