  • The application for neural network on the prediction of the mechanical properties of welded joints was explored in the paper.The models,including tensile strength,yield strength,elongation,reduction for the welding methods of SMAW,SAW,GMAW and TIG were trained.The prediction system of mechanical properties of welded joints based on artificial neural network was designed and optimized.The friendly man-machine interface was made by the use of visual interface programming and database technology.The prediction system of mechanical properties of welded joints included the features,those were model added,model delete,performance prediction,preservation of data,browse data,and the effect of analysis parameters on the performance of joints.The software interface was very friendly and easy to be operated.
