Numerical simulation of welding distortion of blisk on aero-engine by controlling heat input

  • Welding distortion of blisk on aero-engines manufactured by electron beam welding is simulated by finite element method, according to the relation between the power and weld depth, the heat input is decreased by change of the power with weld depth to control the welding distortion of blisk.The result of calculations shows that the blisk distortion of the aero-engine can be controlled by decreasing the heat input on the conditions of meeting the demand of weld penetration and guaranteeing the quality of the welding, a theoretical method and numerical data is provided for controlling the welding distortion of the aero-engine.
