Friction surfacing technology on surface of alluminum

The friction heating process and the mechanism of friction surfacing were analyzed in this paper.The effect of parameter on process of friction surfacing and binding character of boundary of surfacing layer were studied by friction surfacing rare metal on aluminium surface.The result shows that:(1) the process of friction surfacing and the thickness of surfacing layer can all be affected by process parameter;(2) metallurgical joint can be obtained between substrate and surfacing layer;(3) uniform and solid surfacing layer can be obtained by choosing suitable parameter and surface feature of the metal material can be obviously improved at the same time.
