Analysis and experiment on upper limit law of two plates stands in explosive welding

Abstract
To study the relationship between two plates stands and explosive charge thickness and the effect on the bonding interface quality of explosive welding, the movement model of the flyer plate stands is established and the variety regularity between velocity of flyer plate and two plates stands is obtained by analyzing the movement regularity of flyer plate in the stands. The upper limit law of stands parameters is put forward on explosive welding. According to the law, four groups of 304/Q235B explosive welding experiments are carried out. The results indicates that the good welding interfaces are gained by using the upper limit stands parameters, meanwhile it is observed that the explosive charge energy can be saved greatly by the micro interface tests.
