Abstract
Aiming at double pulsed gas metal arc welding of AA6061 aluminum alloy, the effect of strong and weak pulse number ratio on it was studied. By using wavelet analyzer to collect welding electric parameters, figures of current waveform, U-I, current voltage probability density distribution were analyzed, and the micro Vickers hardness measurement was carried out. The result shows that the weld beads obtained by different strong and weak pulse number were relatively uniform, but with the ratio increasing, there were clear weld spatter on the beads,the appearance become worse. Excess weld metal was inversely proportional to the number ratio,but weld width was in direct proportion to it. With the increasing of the number ratio, the welding stability was relatively excellent, but it had a tendency to decline. The hardness of welds obtained under different number ratio had little difference and distribution were uniform.
