Simulation of rotation screw shaft welding of scale wet-type stirring mill

Abstract
With three-dimensional modeling software and finite element analysis software,the stress/strain,temperature distribution and their variations generated in the screw shaft welding of the scale wet-type stirring mill are simulated,and the fields of the stress/strain,temperature are draw out. At the same time,the performance curve in welding process of screw shaft was draw out according to the analysis results. The analysis and experimental results indicate that the residual stress is obviously lower than permissible stress and the welding deformation is within designed permissible range,which is satisfied with reality producing request.
