Establish of ultrasonic residual stress measurement system based on entire envelope weighting algorithm

  • The entire envelope weighting algorithm is proposed in this paper and realized by virtual instrument to obtain residual stress by ultrasonic measurement. Different weight of reference point is assigned to measure time of echo signal more accurately. Compared with traditional single threshold method, the experiment results show that the algorithm improved the stabilization of repeat measurement at the same point by different conditions. The uncertainty is calculated to validate the accuracy of the ultrasonic measurement.
