Abstract
Based on the numerical analysis of isothermal solidification process of brazing filler on pure aluminum and the estimate and experimental results of disappearance time of the molten brazing layer, the experiment of brazing joint is processed by electric furnace after understanding of the poor brazability between the aluminum alloys and stainless steel. The quality of brazing joint is evaluated by TCM10000 universal testing, and then the methods of the improved brazability between aluminum alloys and stainless steel and the wider brazing gap in joint position are suggested, which include brazing filler metal wetting on the surface of stainless steel and brazing the aluminum alloys. The experimental results of more complex joints demonstrate the feasibility of the brazing methods from the theory to the practice.
