Slag detachability of new slag system basic electrode

  • A new slag system has been designed after analyzing several domestic and abroad basic slag system electrode coating. The experiments were arranged with uniform design method and computer software.9 coating ingredients were taken as independent variables and they were divided into 6 levels in all 24 experiments.The slag detachability data were put into computer to analyze statistically. And the mathematic model and diagrams between independent variables and functions are presented.They indicate that the effects of many coating ingredients on the slag detachability are in the mutual form.The mutual effects between CaCO3 & BaCO3, wollastonite & Al-Mg powder, and rutile &iron powder increase the slag detachability separately.While the mutual effects between Al-Mg powder & fluorite, and Al-Mg powder & BaCO3 decrease the slag detachability separately.
