Abstract
Solid-liquid state bonding of Si3N4 ceramics was conducted with the composite bonding materials composed of Ag-Cu-Ti foils and TiN particles in order to improve the joint strength at high temperature. The shear strength at 600℃ of the joints bonded with various TiN volume content was tested and the fracture surfaces of the shearing tests were analyzed with SEM.The results showed that when TiN volume fraction was below 15%,joints were all strengthened and the strength of joints bonded with 10% TiN reached 95 MPa.
