Abstract
28 stainless steel electrodes were studied based on uniform design computer software. 12 coating ingredients were selected as independent variables and each one was divided into 7 levels. The temperature rising of electrode coating is the target function, which was measured with thermocouple and X-Y recording instrument. The mathematic model was given through mathematic statistics. The influences of 12 coating materials on the temperature rising are indicated as follows:①The temperature rising decreases with increasing the content of fluorite or feldspar. ②Some coating ingredients such as muscovite, ferroferric oxide, white mud, calcite and rutile have mutnal influences on the temperature rising which may be positively or negatively dependent on the relative content of the ingredients.
