Abstract
Niekle-based composite alloy powders were depositedon the Surface of Q235 steel by plasma-arc surfacing.Optimal pmpor-tions of elements intensifying the composite powders were ascertained byorthogonal design of three factors and three levels and orthogonal polyno-mial regression analysis, which were 10% Cr,4% Mn,and 7% W respec-tively.Phase and structure of deposited materials were characterized using optical microscope and X-my diffraction.Hardness tests and wear resi8t-ance tests were utilized to understand the performance of the deposited layers. The result showed that the miemstrueture of deposited layers of composite powders mainly consisted of γ-(Ni,Fe),γ-Ni,WC,W2C,Mn31Si12,Cr23C6,Cr7C3,Cr,NiB,Ni2B etc.Wear resistance and hard-ness of the surface increased evidently.
