Solid-phase welding between 40Cr and T10A after surface laser quenching

    Abstract
  • The feasibility and the influencing factors of solid phase welding between the structural steel 40Cr and tool steel T10A were explored under the condition of the surfaces to be laser quenched.The results show that super fine grain on sarface can be gotten after the pretreatment of surface laser quenching.With the condition of pre pressed under 37~56.6 MPa at the welding temperature of 750~780℃,the strength of joint is up to or close to that of base metal in a short time pressure welding.
