In this paper,the fatigue crack growth experiment of the cross-shaped welded joints with partial penetration was carried out.The results show that there is the higher fatigue strength in the cross-shaped welded joints with partial penetration.The strength of joint is affected obviously by the size of partial penetration of welded joint when the size (2a'/T) is more 0.5.The critical value of the size (2a'/T) of partial penetration is 0.5.
