Welding of Ceramics/Metal with Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis

Ceramic is very different from metal not only in structures,but also in properties.A combination of ceramic and metal will become a new type structure material with broad application prospects.In this paper,on the basis of the comparison between ceramic and metal,the characteristics of the welded synthetic of ceramics and metal by self propagating and high temperature were reviewed,and its present research situation was summarized.
