Model and Analysis of Phase-Shifted Quasi-Resonate Arc Welding Power

The principle of PS-QR (Phase-Shifted Quasi-Resonate) circuit used for arc welding power source is discussed in the paper.Effect of some special circuit on the dynamics of PS converter are analyzed in details.Equalent circuit is drawn from buck converter.The paper explains the differences in the dynamic characteristics of the PS-PWM converter and its PWM counterpart.Model predictious are coufirmed by experimental measurements.
