Simulation Study on Preheating Process of Pulse Flash Butt Welding

The stable identified model is developed with the improved LEVY algorithm based upon the dynamic frequency character test of DQ-1 pulse flash butt weling machine. The influence of the changes of welding parameters on the welding preheating process is investigated by computer simulation method.Welding experiments show that the prediction of simulation has a good agreement with the experimental observition. Therefore, a great number of expensive experiments are avoided.
