Electro-hydropneumatic Servo Vibrating Flash Butt Welding of Pipes

This paper introduces the principal mechanical and electrical features of a pipe flash butt welding machine which is controlled by a microprocessor based parameter feedback servo system. Moreover, the experimental results of pipe butt welding process using pulsed flashing techniques with this machine have been analysed.
