Calculating Restraint Intensity of Restraint Specimen of Cast Iron and Evaluating Quantitatively Cold Cracking Tendency of Cast Iron Weld

Anew experimental method was putfonard for evaluating quantitatively the cold crdcking tendency of cast iron weld, in which the restiaint intensity of specimen was gradational and adjustable, By means of F.E. method the restraint intensity of specimen was calculated and the results were proved by experiments. The effect of graphite morphologies on the cracking tendency of cast iron weld was studied with method.
