Friction welding of high-temperature alloy GH2132 and tempered alloy steel 42CrMo

  • The paper inquires into the metallurgical characteristics of the friction welding joints between high-temperature alloy GH2132 and tempered alloy steel 42CrMo on the basis of experamental data. The relation between structures and properties of the joints are determined. The results provide theoretical basis for optimization of the technological parameter. The results of the train motion indicates that the properties of the turbo-spindle, which are joined by friction welding, are reliable. The distance of motion is far more than the target of 200 thousands kmset in the MOR quality index.
