  • Through the analyse of the arc length alternating process and the allowed extent range for arc length variation. the calculation formula of the maximal gradient angle αmax and one-off moved step number N of welding torch in this paper are obtained. With the an programming design of hardware and software, the problem of false regulation caused by dummy signal is solved, and the automatic stabilizing of arc length during welding process in the designed range effectively is guarranteed.
