Development and application of AI for cast iron welding and repair

Expert system technology is applied to cast iron welding and repair, its software is also developed. The software consists of knowledge base, image and picture base, inference engine and user interface. It is mainly used to plan the welding process, index the examples of welding, introduce the welding materials and recover the defects after welding etc. . Its main feature is that the knowledge is developed in picture and the user interface is made with images and texts.
