Statisic characteristics of stress concentration factor at weld toes

This paper deals with the distribution laws of the geometric variables and theoretical stress concentration factor K_t at toes of fillet welds of manual metal, carbon-dioxide and flat position submerged arc welding. Some discussions are made with the emphasis on the influence of several factors on the statistical characteristics of K_t at the weld toes, including the welding methods, statistical fluctuation of geometric variables, the type of distribution function and its deviation of parameters.
