Method of microcomputer control for inverter arc welding power source

Microcomputer control minimum system interface circuit and program design for the SCR-inverter arc welding power source is introduced in this paper. The method of producing pulses, the keyboard adjusting and showing of output current, the changes among no load, loaded and short circuited states and the adjusting method of microcomputer control system are discussed. The results show that satisfactory constant-current external characteristics and dynamic response can be obtained.
