STUDY OF COLD CRACKING SUSCEPTIBILITY OF HQ-70 STEEL

    Abstract
  • The cold cracking susceptibility of HQ-70 steel was studied by use of the TEKKEN test and Implant test.The cold cracking diagrams of this steel were drawn,and its susceptibility to cotd clacking was evaluated.It is suggested that the safe preheating temperature for avoiding the emergence of cold crack is 125℃.
