A STUDY OF THE TRANSISTOR POWER SOURCE USED FOR THE GUIDED SHORT CIRCUITING TRANSFER TYRE CO₂ SHIELDED ARC WELDING WITH NEGATIVE PULSE CURRENT

In this paper,the working principle,the block diagram and the operating chara-cteristics of a transister power source for the new short cirouting CO₂ shielded arc welding are introduced.When this transistor power source is used for the short circui-ting CO₂ welding,the metal transfer is controlled and regular,thus featuring uniform particles,low spattering,very good appearance of weld and high productivity.
