A NEW METHOD FOR OBTAINING THE SPOT WELDING CURRENTS OF VARIOUS WAVEFORMS——Application of Microcomputer to Resistance Welding Process Control

A new type of microcomputer unit has been developed for controlling resistance spot welding process.By means of this unit,accurate and stable currents of different waveforms can be obtained for the spot welding of various materials and thicknesse.Furthermore,the current can be arbitrarily adjusted during each cycle for in-process quality monitoring.
