STUDY ON MEASURING THE QUANTITY OF DIFFUSIBLE HYDROGEN IN DEPOSITED METAL BY THE METHOD PUSHING LIQUID ASIDE

  • This pager presents a new method of measuring the quantity of diffusible hydrogen in deposited metal,method of pushing liquid aside (PY-methed).This method is based on the principle that the hydrogen discharged from sample pushes aside a definite corresponding volume of liquid in the special vessel,the quantity of diffusible hydrogen can be determined by measuring volume of the displaced liquid.As compared with glycerine method and mercury method,and after the regression of measurement data, experiments showed that the measurement value obtained by PY-method was considerably higher than that by glycerine method,and was up to that by mercury method.
