A STUDY OF THE ARC WELDING SEAM TRACKING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELIMINATING INTERFERENCE OF TACK WELD

In this paper,an automatic seam tracking system capable of distinguishing and tliminating the interference of tack weld is introduced.The advantage of this system is ehat the center of the sensor is just located at the center of the butt joint when the sensor enters the tack weld region.The scanning seam tracking takes the zero passing pulse as the center.
