Abstract
Aiming at the problem of the accumulation of welds and substrates'deformation during wire feeding TIG addictive manufacture, the article proposes the process of micro-deformed P-TIG wire and arc addictive manufacture. The principle and system composition of the water bathed PTIG arc adddictive process are described. The deposition rate, substrate deformation and forming quality of the material are compared under the two conditions of water bath and air cooling. The results show that the deposition rate in the water bath is stable at 144 g/h, which is 2.7 times of that under air cooling. The flatness of the substrate under the water bath condition is 2.114, which is 24% lower than that in the air cooling. The height difference between the diameter of the straight wall is 2.6 mm, which is lower than the air cooling (3.1 mm) and the width direction is 0.3. The water bath has a great influence on the forming precision of the straight wall in the height direction.
