Abstract
ER309L Austenitic welding materials and ERNiCrFe-3flux-cored wire nickel-based are adopted to weld Cr13 steel by TIG welding method. The performance of the two weld joints are studied by non-destructive detection, micro-hardness tests, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance tests. The experiment results show that no welding defects exist in either welding joints, both welding joints are high strength matched with qualified bending performance. Compared with Austenitic weld metal, nickel-based weld metal has lower impact toughness, higher hardness and resistance to electrochemical corrosion.
