Abstract:
Porous ceramics are widely used in fields such as heat insulation, filtration, sound absorption, and catalysis due to their good chemical stability, as well as the high permeability and large specific surface area of porous materials. Realizing the joining between porous ceramics and between porous ceramics and dissimilar materials has become the key to promoting the wide application and production of porous ceramics. The different metallurgical forms, principles, and characteristics of joining between porous ceramics and between porous ceramics and dissimilar materials were summarized, and the recent research results of Chinese and international scholars in this field were outlined. The research status of joining methods such as brazing, glass-ceramic joining, oxynitride glass joining, and bonding was specifically introduced. The applicable scopes and existing problems of these technologies were summarized, and the interface bonding conditions when welding porous ceramics using various joining methods were analyzed. Based on this, the joining of porous ceramics was summarized and prospected, providing a reference for future research directions and technological breakthroughs in porous ceramic joining.
