690镍基合金真空感应熔炼脱硫

Desulphurization of VIM 690 Ni-base alloy

  • 摘要: 采用真空感应熔炼,精选原材料,分别利用预制MgO坩埚和预制CaO坩埚,其中在MgO坩埚中加入稀土镧,在CaO坩埚中加入金属铝,采用这两种不同的工艺分别对690镍基焊接材料进行脱硫.结果表明,在低硫含量范围内(S≤0.003%,质量分数),前一种工艺起不到脱硫作用,而后一种工艺却大幅度脱硫,铸锭硫含量降低到0.0004%.脱硫机理为铝与CaO坩埚感应形成3CaO·Al2O3低熔点渣,脱硫反应在坩埚内表面3CaO·Al2O3渣与合金液的界面上进行,从而大大促进脱硫.超低含量的硫提高了合金的加工塑性,进而在焊接试验过程中证实,超低含量的硫使熔敷金属避免了焊接裂纹的产生.

     

    Abstract: The reduction of sulphur during the VIM of Ni-base alloy was studied by using prefabricating MgO and CaO crucibles.The former was added with La rare earth element,and has no effective desul-phurization when the sulphur content was less than 0.0030(wt%) in raw materials.The latter was added with Al,it can make the sulphur content in the ingot reduced to 0.0004(wt%).Desulphurization mechanism is that CaO crucible with Al addtion induced to form 3CaO·Al2O3 low melting point slag,whereafter desulphurization reaction will conduct on the interface of between 3CaO·Al2O3 slag and liquid metal.The working plasticity of the alloy is increased,and the welding cracking is avoided as well.
