铝-镁金属间化合物涂层的制备与分析

Preparation and analysis of Al-Mg intermetallic coating

  • 摘要: 采用铝/镁异质双丝电弧喷涂+热处理复合工艺在铸造铝合金表面制备了铝-镁金属间化合物防护涂层.通过金相显微镜、电子探针及XRD衍射仪对涂层的组织和相组成进行研究,分析了热处理工艺对涂层组织的影响.采用质量分数5%的NaCl溶液进行浸泡试验和电化学试验,对比分析了热处理前后涂层的耐腐蚀性能.结果表明,热处理可显著改变涂层内部Al,Mg元素的分布,涂层由明显的铝、镁交替片层状组织转变为连续分布的均匀组织,同时涂层内部生成铝-镁金属间化合物,该涂层具有低腐蚀电位和高耐蚀性的特点,可以对基体起到良好的保护作用.

     

    Abstract: Al-Mg intermetallic compound coatings were prepared on ZL 102 alloy by arc spraying and thermal diffusion.Their microstructure and corrosion resistance were also analyzed by optical microscopy.The corrosion resistance property of coatings layer was tested by means of electrochemical tests and immersion tests in 5% NaCl.The results showed that after thermal diffusion the distribution of magnesium and aluminum elements was changed to uniform,and the magnesium-rich layer coating film disappeared.The coatings were changed from clear layer of aluminum,magnesium alternating lamellae changed into uniform and continuous distribution.After thermal diffusion a certain amount of Al-Mg intermetallic compound is found in the coating.The Al-Mg intermetallic compound has a low corrosion potential and high corrosion resistance,so it would play an important role in materials protection.
