Distributed Control System of Crossbeam Structure Welding Process

  • 摘要: 介绍了一种在梁型结构件自动焊接专机中应用的分布式控制系统。该系统是为实现梁型结构件表面焊缝的双丝多道双面焊接专机的焊接要求而研制的。该控制系统以工业PC机为上位机,以总线结构连接多台下位机,并利用绝对编码器研制了二维接触式跟踪传感器,来检测工件焊缝的变化。使用交流电机和步进电机作为执行机构,来完成工件的装卡、提升、旋转等辅助动作以及两把焊枪在焊接过程中对焊缝的自动跟踪,以提高焊接质量和焊接效率,实现自动化焊接。

     

    Abstract: This paper presents a distributed control system for welding crossbeam structures. This system is developed to meet the task of crossbeam structure welding with two wires, double faces and multi-pass. It takes industrial PC as its host controller and several secondary controllers are connected to the host by computer bus. An bi-dimensional touch sensor with digital absolute encoder is developed to detect the warp of welding seam of workpiece. It uses AC motors and micro-step motors as executive units to complete the assistant motion such as installing, lefting, rotating of workpiece, to finish the automatic tracking of two weld guns along the welding seam, to improve the welding quality and efficiency, and to carry out automatic welding.
