Behavior of Rare-earth Yttrium and Boron in 3.5% Nickel-containing Welding Electrode

  • 摘要: 对含镍3.5%低温钢手工电焊条配方中稀土钇与硼的作用进行了试验研究。试验证明:钇具有明显的脱氧效果,微量硼的加入可以进一步细化晶粒并起到净化焊缝的综合作用,对低温韧性的提高有显著效果。

     

    Abstract: The investigation of effects of rare-earth yttrium and boron, which are in the 3.5% nickel-containing steel welding electrode on low temperature toughness has been carried out. The experimental results show that yttrium possesses an obvious action of deoxidization while the microelement boron can make crystal grains finer and can purify the filler metal, both can increase the low temperature toughness of weld metal markedly.
