Computer simulation of transient microstructure prediction of welding process

  • 摘要: 焊接过程瞬态组织预示程序是在先前的焊接热传导程序基础设计而成的。利用状态图和相变动力学中的计算公式,该程序可以给出整个接头中任一点瞬态各组织的体积百分数,并绘出各组分的等值分布图。与最终接头中的观测值相比,相对差值约±10%。应用这一程序,对低合金钢实际管线环焊缝手工焊进行了计算模拟,进一步验证了该程序的可行性和可靠程度。

     

    Abstract: In this research, a transient microstructure-prediction program was designed on the basis of coupling a previous heat transfer program. With the calculation eguations for phase change point in the phase diagram and transformation kinetics, it can provide the volume fraction of each kind of possible microstructure at any location in the whole welded joint plus iso-volumetric fraction contours. In comparison with the measured values, the relative difference is about 10%. With this program a practical example, in which a circumferential weld was performed with SMAW,was computed. The material concerned was a low-alloy steel used for pipeling construction. This research verified the realizability and reliability of the program.
