A CLOSED LOOP CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ONE SIDE MIG WELDING WITH BACK BEAD FORMATION

  • 摘要: 采用硅光电三极管作为传感器,研制成了一种MIG焊熔深自控系统,实现了单面焊双面成形的工艺。文章讨论了MIG电弧下焊接熔池的熔透特点,提出了双门限脉动送丝的控制方案,从而使系统能对MIG电弧能量进行快速调整。本文的研究成果可应用于压力容器等封底焊的自动化过程。

     

    Abstract: Utilizing the silicon photoelectric transistor as a sensor, the authors developed an automatic penetration control system for MIG welding. Thus the root pass with back bead formation was welded successfully. In this paper the penetration performance of MIG welding pool was discussed. A dual-threshold controller based on pulsed wire feeding was discribed in detail. This was designed for the fast adjusting of the arc energy in MIG welding process. The system developed can be applied to the auto-welding of root passes on presure vessels, etc.
