裂化塔焊缝缺陷鉴别

PREDICTION OF WELD DEFECTS FOR AN OIL CRACKING FURNACE

  • 摘要: 某厂一原油裂化塔安全运行24年后,进行了首次全面综合无损检验,发现焊缝缺陷62条,缺陷尺寸均超出该类设备的允许值。为提出准确处理方案,对代表性缺陷钻模取样进行破坏性检验。结果证明,均属焊接缺陷:有焊接冷裂纹、焊接凝固裂纹、还有未熔合与焊缝气孔等焊接缺陷。断口形貌观察进一步表明,在运行期间这些焊接缺陷没有扩展或新萌生的裂纹。断裂力学安全分析证明,这些焊接缺陷不需要修补。该塔现正安全运行中。

     

    Abstract: The oil cracking furnace of a refinery plant has been in operation safely for 24 years.In the synthetical nondestructive inspection of weld metal,62 defects exceeding the limits set for this type of equipment were found.For the purpose of getting a correct maintenance programme,the authors made destructive examinations of some samples with typical welding defects.The testing results showed that these defects were all caused by welding.They are cold cracks,solidification cracks,pores and lack of fusion.Fractographic analysis proved that there was no propagation of these defects during the period of operation.Safety assurance analysis by fracture mechanics indicated that these defects do not have to be removed or repaired.At present the said oil cracking furnace is in full operation.
