聚焦气流对大功率等离子弧焊炬工作稳定性的影响

THE INFLUENCE OF FOCUSING GAS FLOW ON WORKING STABILITY OF HIGH CAPACITY PLASMA TORCH

  • 摘要: 为了进一步探讨聚焦气流对大功率等离子弧焊炬工作稳定性的影响,设计了两种水冷探头,对YJ-700大功率等离子焊炬(带有环形水冷聚焦罩)和通用型LH-300焊炬,在各种参数、喷嘴孔径时,弧对探头表面的径向压强分布、弧对探头的传导热及探头表面的径向温度分布进行了测定。虽然弧对探头的作用力不同于弧对熔池的作用力,但可以用来定最描述弧的刚性及穿透力。探头表面的温度分布及弧对探头的传导热,虽然并非为弧的真实径向温度分布及弧对阳极工件的传导热,但可以说明弧的热特性及阳极工件的热传导规律。试验证明,聚焦气流的存在,不但可以抑制双弧的产生,而且能使弧特性(包括压力特性及热特性)对离子气流量的变化不敏感;探头表面的温度分布对喷嘴直径的变化也不敏感,有利于焊炬的工作稳定性。

     

    Abstract: In order to further investigate the influence of focusing gas flow on the working stability of high capacity plasma torch,two kinds of water cooled sensors were designed and applied to the YJ-700 high capacity plasma torch with annular water cooled focusing gas shroud and the commercial LH-300 plasma torch for determining,under different parametars and different nozzle orifices,the radial distribution of arc pressure,the heat transfer from arc to sensor and the radial temperature distribution of the internal surface of sensor.The acting force of the arc to the sensor is different from that to the molten pool,nevertheless it can be adopted to describe quantitatively the stiffness and the penetrating power of the arc.Though the temperature distribution of the internal surface of the sensor is not the same as the actual radial temperature distribution of the arc,and the heat transfer from arc to sensor is not equivalent to the heat transfer from arc to the anodic workpiece,they may explain the thermal characteristics of the arc and the rule of heat transfer from arc to anodic workpiece.It is demonstrated that not only the double arc can be inhibited by the presence of the focusing shroud and focusing gas flow,but also the sensitivity of the pressure characteristic and thermal characteristic of the arc to the change of the plasma gas flow rate can be lowered.The influence of the change of nozzle orifice on the temperature distribution of the internal surface of the sensor can also be decreased.These are all benefitial to the working stability of plasma torch.
