基于多曝光的明弧焊接视觉系统

Vision system for open arc welding based on multi-exposure

  • 摘要: 在明弧焊接中,由于弧光的强烈干扰,常用的视觉系统难以获得清晰的图像. 针对以上问题,设计了数字相机配合电焊减光片的视觉系统. 通过对多曝光图像序列进行融合处理,获得了熔池区域和焊缝区域都清晰的最终图像. 提出了基于软件触发和在线更改曝光参数来获取多曝光图像序列的方法. 通过伽马变换后累加图像的融合方法获得了暗部细节增强,无人工合成痕迹的图像. 使用近似的光照响应曲线说明了融合方法的合理性和有效性. 结果表明,能够获得20帧/s的最终显示帧速,可以满足焊工远程监控的需求,同时为后期实现智能化焊接提供了信息丰富的图像.

     

    Abstract: In open arc welding process, it is difficult for the common vision system to achieve clear images due to the arc interference. In order to get high-quality images, a vision system using a digital camera and a welding glass was proposed. Through the image fusion of multi-exposure image sets, the weld pool area and the neighboring dark areas were both clear. A software-based method for capturing multi-exposure image sets was investigated by using software trigger and online change of the exposure parameters. A fusion algorithm accumulating images after gamma transformation was used to obtain images with enhancement of shadow detail and removing the false edge. The fusion method was shown to be rational and effective by using the approximate radiometric response curve. The results show that a 20FPS frame rate could be obtained, and the images are able to meet the needs of remote monitoring, which provided sufficient information for intelligent welding.
