初始转速对惯性径向摩擦焊接头成形的影响

Effect of initial rotation speed of flywheel on inertia radial friction welded joint shape

  • 摘要: 惯性径向摩擦焊接过程中飞轮初始转速决定了焊接能量输入,对接头成形具有决定性影响.采用45钢径向环和37CrMnMo钢管,试验分析了惯性径向摩擦焊接过程中飞轮初始转速对接头成形的影响,得到了良好接头成形的飞轮初始转速,并从理论上进行了分析.结果表明,当飞轮初始转速为520和560 r/min时,接头成形较为美观,飞边呈现圆弧状卷起并均匀连续地被挤出摩擦界面.根据径向摩擦焊接界面附近温度场的特点,利用分层能量估计法从理论上推导出获得良好接头的飞轮初始转速为548 r/min,与试验结果具有较好的一致性.

     

    Abstract: The initial rotation speed of flywheel determines the welding heat input in inertia radial friction welding process, which has a decisive influence on joint shape. In this paper, inertia radial friction welding experiments of 37CrMnMo steel pipes were carried out at different initial rotation speed by taking 45 steel as radial ring. The effect of initial rotation speed of flywheel on joint shape was analyzed, and the proper initial rotation speed of flywheel to obtain the good joint shape was obtained in theory. The experimental results showed that the joint is good at the initial rotation speed of 520 and 560 r/min, and the fin with arc shape formed by means of continuously and uniformly squeezing the plastic metal from the friction interface in welding process. Based on the characteristics of radial friction welding temperature field, the proper initial rotation speed of flywheel to obtain the good joint shape was induced by estimating the laminated energy in the ring. The calculated result is n0=548 r/min, which is in good agreement with the experimental results
