梯度功能材料等离子熔积成形过程的Level-Set方法模拟

Simulation of plasma deposition manufacturing process for functionally graded material using level-set approach

  • 摘要: 利用Level-Set方法与有限体积法(finite volume method,FVM)建立梯度功能材料(functionally graded material,FGM)等离子熔积制造(plasma deposition manufacturing,PDM)过程多相混态场统一模型;研究了在不同热输入功率下熔池形貌、温度场与流场以及溶质分布的变化规律.结果表明,热功率是影响梯度功能材料成分分布和性能的重要工艺参数.并用等离子熔积制造方法制备Al2O3-AISI316梯度功能材料,验证了模拟计算结果的正确性和可靠性.

     

    Abstract: A multiphase continuum numerical model based on level-set approach and finite volume method(FVM) was proposed to simulate plasma deposition manufacturing(PDM) process for functionally graded material(FGM).Based on this model, molten pool behavior, temperature field and flow field as well as solute diffusion subjected to a variety of heat power were investigated.The simulation results manifest that heat power has significant influence on the composition distribution and the final property of FGM.An experiment in Al2O3-stainless steel FGM deposition verified the validity and feasibility of this simulation.
