Abstract:
By spraying gradually on the 3D rapid prototype model,a steel-base stretch mould with certain internal size and external shape was formed. As prepared by high strength steel wire,the mould has long life-time enough to satisfy the requirement of mould. By choosing proper spraying wire and controlling the cooling rate,martensite microstructure can be formed in the spraying coatings,and it can provide enough hardness,wear resistant and cracking resistance properties. In order to guarantee the size precision during the mold manufacture,the finite element analysis simulation was introduced to calculate the temperature field and stress field of the deposited layer. The technology has been used to actual stretch mould,which dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties can meet the requirements,and has been used in production.
