搅拌摩擦焊中摩擦头前进阻力的检测及分析

Measurements and analysis of onward force on stir-pin in FSW process

  • 摘要: 针对LF2和LY12铝合金板搅拌摩擦焊接过程中摩擦头前进阻力的变化进行了试验研究.试验采用压力传感器和数据采集系统得到了焊接过程中工艺参数对摩擦头前进阻力的影响规律.结果表明,焊接同种材料时,前进阻力随焊接速度、压入量、材料厚度的增加而增大,随旋转频率的增加,先增大后减小;焊接材料不同时,高硬度材料的前进阻力大于低硬度材料;焊接过程中摩擦头前进阻力大小与前侧变形金属体积和温度大小有关,前侧变形金属体积越大,温度越低,前进阻力越大.

     

    Abstract: The effects of welding parameters on the forward force of the stir-pin were investigated with the mechanical signal detecting system during friction stir welding LF2 and LY12 aluminum alloys.The results show that the onward force will increase with welding speed and heel plunge depth increasing during welding the same materials,but when the various phenomena occur,the onward force increases at first,reaches the stabilization,and then decreases with rotational speed increasing;the higher the materials hardness the larger the onward force is.The onward force of the stir-pin is connected with the heat generation and the deforming volume of advancing side metal during welding;when the deforming volume increases and the temperature decreases,the onward force will increase.
