Abstract:
The amorphous fillers with the components Cu
68.5Ni
15.7Sn
9.3P
6.5(wt%) was used to braze copper by vacuum brazing.The compactness of joint was studied by means of XRD, EPMA and metalloscope.The results show that the main reason of brazing porosity is the vaporization of P element.Comparing of the porosity sensitivity between crystal FM and amorphous FM, it can been found that amorphous FM is better than the crystal FM.Based on the vacancy theory and the automic vibration theory, it is concluded that the porosity sensitivity is result from the high element-liveness in the fillers.
