焊后热处理改善WB36钢临界再热粗晶区韧性分析

Study on PWHT improving toughness at IRCGHAZ of WB36 steel

  • 摘要: 针对WB36钢(15NiCuMoNb5)临界再热粗晶区(IRCGHAZ)存在的脆化现象,研究了焊后热处理对模拟临界再热粗晶区(IRCGHAZ)组织性能的影响,探讨其改善韧性作用。结果表明,590℃×2h的焊后热处理对IRCGHAZ的硬度影响不大,但明显改善韧性,室温冲击韧性上升了85%,断口形貌由准解理+韧窝的混合断口转变为韧窝断口。IRCGHAZ韧性的改善与焊后热处理使晶内方向性排列的M-A组元大部分分解有关,基体组织改善的贡献很小。

     

    Abstract: This study is concerned with the effect of post welding heat treatment(PWHT)on the microstructure and properties at the intercritical reheated coarse-grained heat-affected zone (IRCGHAZ)of WB36 steel, and investigated whether the PWHT could reduce IRCGHAZ embrittlement.The results showed that the hardness at IRCGHAZ has little change, but the toughness exhibited significance increase after PWHT at the temperature of 590℃ for 2 h, with the Charpy impact toughness increasing 85 percent comparing with the as welded IRCGHAZ.Fractographs of IRCGHAZ is found to be changed from the mixed fractographs of quasi-cleavage facets and microvoids to purely microvoids after PWHT.Enhancement of toughness at IRCGHAZ is caused by the decomposition ofMA constituents at the lath martensite boundaries occurred during the PWHT, and lath martensite in the matrix of IRCGHAZ is showed little change, which have little influence on the toughness.
