Electron beam welding of dissimillar metal between Ti-43Al-9V-0.3Y and TC4

  • 摘要: 分析了Ti-43Al-9V-0.3Y/TC4异种材料电子束焊接接头的形貌特征、相组成及工艺参数对接头抗拉强度的影响。焊缝区凝固组织以粗大的柱状晶为主,其相组成包括Ti3Al相、TiAl相、B2相和YAl2相。TC4侧焊缝粗大的柱状晶是以母材中的晶粒为基体连生长大的,热影响区为等轴粗大的α+β组织,晶粒尺寸过渡较大。TiAl侧近缝区为一条浅色的耐腐蚀带,几乎由单一的B2相组成。分析了焊接工艺参数对接头抗拉强度的影响,焊接速度的变化对抗拉强度的影响不大,而随束流的变化抗拉强度存在峰值,在试验范围内得到的最高接头强度为209.8 MPa。

     

    Abstract: The morphology of welded joint between Ti-43Al-9V-0.3Y and TC4, the phase composition and the effect of the welding parameters on the tensile-strength are analysed.The weld zone is mainly composed of the coarse columnar crystals, and its phase composition includes Ti3Al, TiAl, B2 and YAl2.The columnar crystals in the weld near TC4 are grown up from the grains of the base metal, and the equiaxed grains in the heat-affected zone are coarse α+β structure, and the sizes of the two kinds of grains are distinct.The weld near TiAl is a corrosion resisting bleached zone, and it is composed of single B2 phase.The effect of the welding parameters on the tensile strength of the joint was analyzed.The results shows the welding speed has little influence on the tensile strength, a peak of the tensile strength appears with the change of seam current. the maximum of the tensile strength of the weld is 209.8 MPa in the tested range.
