铝合金高频感应热丝TIG焊接方法

High frequency induction hot wire TIG welding of aluminum alloy

  • 摘要: 提出了高频感应热丝TIG焊接新方法,焊丝加热温度和深度可控,加热速度快,能适应高速送丝要求。高频感应加热消除了常规热丝TIG焊旁路电流磁场引起的电弧偏吹现象。另外,由于该方法不需利用焊丝本身的电阻产热,所以适用于铝合金等低电阻率金属焊丝。根据感应线圈的电感和工作频率要求,设计制造了适用于Φ1.6 mm铝合金焊丝的高频感应加热线圈和套筒。利用热电偶测量了不同送丝速度下的焊丝温度。结果表明,当送丝速度高达6~10 m/m in时,焊丝的温度完全能够满足热丝焊的要求。6~10 m/m in的送丝速度较常规TIG焊接提高了3倍以上,大大提高了焊接效率。

     

    Abstract: High frequency induction hot wire TIG(tungsten inert-gas) welding is a new technique with high efficiency and welding speed.Using the high frequency induction heating,the temperature and the heating length of the wire can be controlled.In addition,this technique avoid magnetic blow aroused by loop current which is a main demerit of the ordinary hot wire TIG welding.Because this welding process heats the welding wire by high frequency induction,not the resistance,its can be applied to weld low resistance metal just like Al,Cu etc.According to the principle of the inductance and working frequency,an induction coil and a sleeve adapted for Φ1.6 mm Al wire were designed.Thermocouple was used to measure the temperature of the wire.The results show that when the wire feed rate is 6 m/min,the max temperature of the wire can achieve 450℃,and when the wire feed rate is as high as 10 m/min,the temperature of the wire can also approach 300℃,which meet the demand of the hot wire welding completely.Even the relative low wire feed rate of 6 m/min exceeds 3 times of routine TIG welding,which greatly improves the welding efficiency.
